Madison County Transit District Free Student Passes

On May 1, 2008 the Madison County Transit District announced that it would be providing free transit passes to students in the seventh through twelfth grades for use in unlimited riding this summer on any of the District�s fixed bus routes. These passes may not be used for free transportation on MetroBus or MetroLink, and pass holders must pay the appropriate Metro fares.

MetroRide Downtown � New Saturday Hours

Annie Malone May Day Parade--May 18

On Sunday, May 18, 2008, the Annual May Day Parade will be held in the downtown area. The parade is
scheduled to assemble at 11 a.m. at Harris-Stowe State University. Chestnut will also be blocked between
Broadway and 11th Street for assembly. At approximately 1 p.m., the parade will proceed east on Market to
Broadway and disband.

#1,#2 - Reroutes Fri-Mon, 5/16-19

The #1, WUSTL GOLD and #2 WUSTL RED routes will be rerouted for construction of the I-64 bridge over Brentwood Boulevard. On Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, both routes will be on reroute. On Friday night and Monday morning, only the #2 will be on reroute. Metro has prepared a complete brochure explaining the reroutes and schedules for this period which will be distributed to customers who may not have access to the on-line version. Customers with web access may print the brochure.

Forest Park Shuttle Begins May 24

Westbound Bus Stops on Market at 8th and 9th

Construction is prohibiting MetroBus ability to serve its regular bus stops westbound on Market at 8th and 9th Streets. Customers may use the westbound stop on Market at 10th St.

Southbound Bus Stop on 8th at Market

Effective 3/17/08 - Illinois Seniors and Customers with Disabilities-UPDATE

Effective March 17, 2008, the Madison and St. Clair County Transit Districts are paying the MetroBus and MetroLink fares for seniors and customers with disabilities who live in those Transit Districts only. Customers who live in those Transit Districts and would like to ride free on MetroBus and MetroLink service in Illinois and Missouri must be prepared to show proof of age and proof of residence in those Transit Districts.

The following forms of identification are the only forms which are acceptable at this time:

Valid Illinois driver�s license showing a birth date year of 1943 or earlier;
Valid Illinois State photo ID showing a birth date year of 1943 or earlier;
U.S. passport with an Illinois address and showing a birth date year of 1943 or earlier;
Metro Senior or ADA Reduced Fare Pass (photo ID) with Illinois address.

At the present time the birth date eligibility will be determined only by the birth year to expedite verification by MetroBus operators and fare inspectors.

Anyone presenting only a Medicare card will be required to pay the regular senior or ADA fare (because a Medicare card does not indicate state of residence). The regular fares will also apply to all other seniors and customers with disabilities.

#1 - Saturday reroute - 5/3/08-10/25/08

The following reroute will be in effect every Saturday from 6 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. every saturday from May 3 through October 25, 2008.

#16,91,97 Delmar Sta. Reroutes - 5/5 to 5/30

The existing reroutes for these routes will end on May 4, and a new route plan will go into effect for
construction at the Delmar MetroLink Station between May 5 through May 30, 2008. The MetroBus stop and
pedestrian entrance to the Station on Des Peres will be CLOSED due to construction during that time. As a
result the above routes will be re-routed to the Forest Park MetroLink Station during this period. The
park-ride lot will remain open. Details of the reroutes for the #16, #91 and #97 are available on this page.

#2 Red Line - 5/5 to 5/30

Although the MetroBus stop and pedestrian entrance to the Delmar Station will be CLOSED due to construction
during this period, the #2 Red Line will continue serving the Delmar Station using the MetroBus stop at the
parking lot entrance on Enright. Customers can access the Delmar platform through the parking lot.
