Metro is making investments with new construction, infrastructure, and technological upgrades to improve the transit experience for our riders. Learn more about the projects and their progress, and find out where you might experience delays as we make system improvements.

MetroLink will not operate between the Delmar Loop and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations on Saturday, Dec. 13 & Sunday, Dec. 14 – due to bridge demolition work. Bus shuttles will carry riders between these stations, please plan ahead for delays.

We are making significant investments to modernize Metro Transit, and our new fare system will include upgraded digital tools and features, new ticket vending machines, and state-of-the-art fare validators. These improvements will make riding Metro quick and simple.

The University City-Big Bend MetroLink Station will temporarily close for approximately three weeks starting on Thursday, December 18 for infrastructure and safety upgrades. A Metro Shuttle van will be available to assist passengers.
