Metro Transit will stop accepting Red ADA Paratransit Gateway Cards on MetroBus and MetroLink on September 30, 2026, as it transitions to a new fare system. Riders who use these cards must request a replacement ADA Paratransit Ride On card before the deadline.

​Metro Transit will launch a pilot program starting October 3 to study single-car MetroLink train service and determine if it can improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining customer satisfaction, reliability and safety.

Station Shuttles will carry riders by bus between the Forest Park, CWE, Cortex and Grand MetroLink Stations all weekend on September 26 & 27 due to bridge maintenance work. Allow extra time if traveling through this area.

Schedule and route changes for 9 Missouri MetroBus routes go into effect on Monday, September 14, as part of a quarterly service change. Includes end of service on the #5 Green route. No changes to MetroLink or Illinois MetroBus service.
