Automotive/Diesel Mechanic (Station Mechanic)
Starting Wage: $32.23/hr
Station Mechanics at Metro are responsible for diagnosing, repairing and verifying repairs on our fleet of Metro transit buses. Candidates must be proficient in the diagnosis of engines, transmissions/drivelines, air brakes and steering/suspension systems as well as a competent understanding of electrical systems. Other responsibilities include performing and documenting inspections, listing any defects found and repairing defects.
Electromechanic (MetroLink Mechanic)
Starting Wage: $32.98/hr
Metro’s Electromechanics play an essential role in public safety and in keeping our transportation system running smoothly. Safe and reliable transportation starts with you! This is an opportunity to step out of the diesel garage and use your skills on clean electric trains.
