All MetroBus Routes Back on Regular Routes Following Severe Weather on May 30
MetroBus routes impacted by severe weather that ripped through the bi-state region on Friday, May 30 are back on their regular routes.
This afternoon, the #75 Lilac-Hanley MetroBus route was the last to resume its regular service. Downed wires on roads prevented the #75 MetroBus route from accessing the National Personnel Records Center at #1 Archives Drive in North St. Louis County. At one point, 11 of the area’s 75 bus routes were detoured due to blocked roads and flooding. Service was halted to Riverport and Hollywood Casino because heavy storm damage prevented access to those businesses.
MetroLink and Metro Call‑A‑Ride service were not affected by storm damage and had normal operations all weekend.
The latest transit service updates can be found in the Rider Alerts area of Metro’s website at www.metrostlouis.org.
