Metro Quarterly Service Update Scheduled for November 28
Metro regularly monitors and reviews feedback from riders and operators, and each quarter, uses this feedback along with other trip data to adjust MetroBus routes and schedules. These service updates improve on-time performance and MetroLink connections, and are a part of Metro’s commitment toward building a better experience for the transit riding public in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County in Missouri and in St. Clair County in Illinois.
On Monday, November 28, schedules will be adjusted for 20 MetroBus routes, routing will be adjusted for three MetroBus routes, and a new Illinois route will be introduced – the #22X Sauget Industrial Parkway.
Details of the Quarterly Service Change effective Monday, November 28:
ILLINOIS ROUTES
- NEW ROUTE – #22X Sauget Industrial Parkway: Provides morning and evening service, Monday through Friday, between the 5th & Missouri Transit Center to Sauget Industrial Parkway.
- #8 Alta Sita: Route change and schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends.
MISSOURI ROUTES
- #2 Red: Schedule adjustment, weekday 5 a.m. southbound trip at Richmond Heights Transit Center moves to 5:03 a.m.
- #8 Bates-Morganford: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends to improve connections with the #40 Broadway at Catalan Loop and the last 12:22 a.m. eastbound Blue Line MetroLink train at Union Station.
- #21 Watson Road: Schedule adjustments to last two eastbound trips to improve connections with the #11 Chippewa at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.
- #30 Soulard: Schedule adjustments on weekday northbound trips after 7:53 p.m. to improve connections to MetroLink at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.
- #48 South Lindbergh: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends.
- #57 Maplewood-Wildwood: Schedule adjustments on weekday eastbound trips after 2:02 p.m. to improve connections with eastbound MetroLink service.
- #61 Chambers Road: Schedule adjustments on weekday and weekend trips after 6:15 p.m.; bus will leave 3-4 minutes later to improve connections with eastbound MetroLink service.
- #71 Parker: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends to improve connections and service.
- #72 Monarch: Schedule adjustments on weekdays to improve schedule adherence and connections with #16 City Limits at Riverview Transit Center.
- #73 Carondelet: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends to improve connections with #48 South Lindbergh at South County Mall.
- #74 Florissant: Route and schedule adjustments on weekdays. Route provides direct service to St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley on select trips. Schedule adjustment, last northbound trip at 12:25 a.m. moves to 12:35 a.m.
- #77 McDonnell-Lindbergh: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and Saturdays to improve connections with the #98 Ballas-North Hanley.
- #78 Larimore: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends to improve connections and service.
- #79 Ferguson: Route and schedule adjustments. Northbound route no longer serves Dunn Rd. from New Florissant to Washington, instead enters onto eastbound Interstate 270 to Washington and then to eastbound Dunn Rd. Schedule adjustments on weekdays to improve connections with eastbound MetroLink trains at the North Hanley Transit Center.
- #90 Hampton: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends to improve connections and service.
- #98 Ballas-North Hanley: Schedule adjustments on weekdays and weekends on all afternoon and evening trips to improve connections to the #77 McDonnell Lindbergh.
- #57X Clayton Road Express: Schedule adjustments to all trips, and adds a new 6:30 a.m. westbound trip.
- #174X North Express: Schedule adjustments to improve connections with MetroBus routes at North County Transit Center.
- #210 Fenton-Gravois Bluffs: Schedule adjustments to improve connections with MetroLink at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.
