Metro Service Change Scheduled for June 9

Metro transit updates constantly monitors and reviews feedback from customers and operators to build a better transit experience for the St. Louis region. As a result, MetroBus routes and schedules are updated to better improve MetroLink connections and MetroBus on-time performance.

Details of the Service Change effective June 9, 2014 are as follows:

• #8 Bates-Morganford: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays and Saturdays.
• #10 Gravois-Lindell: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #16 City Limits: Number 7 time point on the route map has been moved from Arsenal and Jamieson to Southwest and McCausland.
• #18 Taylor: The bus will no longer enter the Broadway-Taylor Transit Center. Passengers will board the southbound trips at the bus shelter across from the Transit Center, facing northbound on Broadway. Schedule adjustments on weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays.
• #27 North County Shuttle: Metro will return to previous route using Lewis & Clark Boulevard from Berwyn to Country Lane. New routing at Jamestown Mall. Buses will no long stop at east mall entrance. The new stop will be located on the outer road on the west side of the mall. 
• #30 Soulard: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #32 ML King Chouteau: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #35 Rock Road: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #36 Spanish Lake: Adjustments to morning trips to serve the bus stop on the campus of Christian Northeast Hospital starting at 5 a.m.
• #40 Broadway: Bus will no longer operate on Virginia. Route changed to operate on Osceola between Grand and Broadway in each direction.
• #42 Sarah: Trips will no longer enter the Broadway Taylor Transit Center. Passengers will board southbound trip on Broadway on same side as Transit Center. Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #47 North Hanley: Bus will no longer serve Vatterott College and will use new routing at Jamestown Mall. Buses will no longer stop at east mall entrance; new stop to be located on outer road on west side of the mall. Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #70 Grand: Route will resume service to the Broadway Taylor Transit Center. Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.  60-foot articulated buses are being put into service to relieve overcrowding.
• #90 Hampton: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #91 Olive: Second to the last trip from Chesterfield Mall on weekends will leave five minutes earlier.
• #95 Kingshighway: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #99 Downtown Trolley: Time adjustments to improve schedule adherence on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• #258 Clayton Chesterfield: Route changed to serve new bus stop on Wings of Hope Drive at Chesterfield Airport Road.
• #3X Muny Trolley: Effective June 16 through August 17, 2014, the #3X Muny Trolley will operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station and the Muny Theatre on the evenings of performances listed in The Muny 2014 summer season program.
