Metro Transit Makes it Easy to Ride On to Victory at the St. Louis Battlehawks Home Opener

[ST. LOUIS, MO/March 9, 2023]  Thousands of football fans are expected in downtown St. Louis on Sunday, March 12, for the St. Louis Battlehawks first home game at The Dome at America’s Center. Metro Transit is a great option to conveniently get to the big game, while avoiding downtown traffic and construction, crowded highways and finding a place to park.

The St. Louis Battlehawks game against the Arlington Renegades kicks-off at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Football fans can connect with all of the excitement of the big game by parking their vehicles for free at any one of 21 Metro Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois, and riding MetroLink to the Convention Center Station, located directly south of The Dome at America’s Center. Red Line and Blue Line MetroLink trains will operate every 20 minutes, with westbound and eastbound trains arriving at Convention Center Station every 10 minutes.

The cost of a round trip ticket to the game on MetroLink is just $5. Customers can purchase a $5 Day Pass in advance as a mobile ticket using the Transit app or on game day they can purchase the Day Pass at Ticket Vending Machines located at every MetroLink station and Metro Transit Center.

MetroBus is also another option to travel to the Battlehawks first home game of the season. The #40 Broadway MetroBus route has several stops near The Dome at America’s Center, and a one-ride MetroBus ticket is just $1.
