Repair crews aim to restore partial service by evening rush
MetroLink Red Line passengers will continue to be shuttled by bus between North Hanley, UMSL North, UMSL South, Rock Road, and Wellston stations today until further notice. Red Line passengers in this area should allow for 35 minute delays. MetroLink crews are working on restoring partial service to those stations for the evening commute.
Two MetroLink trains were stranded when an overhead MetroLink line came down. Both trains were safely evacuated earlier. Blue Line service is operating normally and MetroLink Red Line service in Illinois is also operating normally.
Updates on MetroLink operations can be found at www.metrostlouis.org in the Rider Alert section.
