MetroLink Work Scheduled April 10-15

MetroLink riders should allow extra time for commutes April 10 through April 15 as maintenance work may result in short delays for Red Line and Blue Line passengers as well as train transfers for some Blue Line riders. During the morning and afternoon on Saturday, April 15, eastbound Blue Line MetroLink service will end at the Emerson Park MetroLink Station, and Blue Line passengers will need to transfer to a Red Line train to continue their eastbound trips.

The work will impact the following stations:

  • Sunnen MetroLink Station
  • Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Station
  • Lambert Airport Terminal #2
  • North Hanley MetroLink Station
  • UMSL North MetroLink Station
  • UMSL South MetroLink Station
  • Washington Park MetroLink Station
  • Fairview Heights MetroLink Station

On Monday through Friday (April 10-14) from 8 p.m. until the end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations so crews can perform track maintenance.

  • Blue Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
  • Red Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.

On Tuesday (April 11) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Lambert Airport Terminal #2 MetroLink Station so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.

  • Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
  • Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.

On Wednesday and Friday (April 12 & 14) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the North Hanley, UMSL North and UMSL South MetroLink Stations so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.

  • Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
  • Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.

On Saturday (April 15) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Washington Park and Fairview Heights MetroLink Stations so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.

  • Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
  • Eastbound Blue Line MetroLink service will end at the Emerson Park MetroLink Station during this single-track operation, and Blue Line passengers headed to Washington Park or Fairview Heights Stations will need to transfer to a Red Line train to continue their eastbound trips.
  • Passengers transferring between Blue Line and Red Line trains should allow an extra 10 minutes to their commutes.
