Patti Beck
Director of Communications

Work is scheduled on the MetroLink system tonight through Friday (September 30-October 4) and some passengers may experience short delays in the work zones. The affected areas of the MetroLink system are:

• Lambert Airport Terminal #2 MetroLink Station
• North Hanley MetroLink Station
• UMSL North MetroLink Station
• UMSL South MetroLink Station

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Lambert Airport Terminal #2 station from 8 p.m. until the end of service September 30 and October 1 and 2 (Monday-Wednesday) to accommodate crews conducting track maintenance. Red Line passengers may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes. Blue Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the North Hanley, UMSL North and UMSL South stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service October 3-4 (Thursday-Friday) to accommodate crews conducting track maintenance. Up to 5 minute delays are possible.

In anticipation of high MetroLink ridership for this Thursday (4 p.m. start) and Friday (noon start) National League Division Series home games, Metro will have additional staffing to monitor and assist crowds and will be prepared to add additional trains or extend trips if overcrowding is experienced. Additionally, Metro operators have been authorized to wear Cardinal apparel on dates with home playoff games to show support of our Redbirds.

Updates on MetroLink operations can be found at www.metrostlouis.org in the Rider Alert section.
