Reminder: Changes to 23 MetroBus Routes Starting June 17
On Monday, June 17, Metro Transit will make schedule and/or routing adjustments to 23 MetroBus routes as part of a quarterly service change. These changes include:
- Increasing service frequency on 15 MetroBus routes
- Resuming evening service on 4 MetroBus routes serving North St. Louis County
The service change includes other minor MetroBus schedule and routing changes to improve on-time performance and transit connections, and minor adjustments to two late-night MetroLink trips.
Metro Transit regularly monitors and reviews feedback from operators and customers, and uses this information and other trip data to make quarterly updates to improve transit service. In addition, Metro Transit has been aggressively recruiting, hiring, training and graduating new classes of MetroBus operators for more than a year. With more operators available, Metro is able to increase frequency and resume evening service on several MetroBus routes beginning on June 17.
