Metro Transit Quarterly Service Change on December 2

Return to Blog

Metro Transit will make adjustments to 25 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois on Monday, December 2, as part of the quarterly service change. There are no changes to MetroLink service.

Over the last 18 months, Metro Transit’s recruitment efforts have strengthened workforce numbers and added dozens of new operators to the MetroBus team. With these resources, Metro is positioned to make improvements to MetroBus service and coverage across several routes in December. This includes:

  • Expanding coverage to serve new areas on some MetroBus routes
  • Increasing service frequency on several MetroBus routes
  • Introducing new streamlined routes with less transfers
  • Schedule and routing adjustments to improve on-time performance and transit connections

Details on the December Service Change, including new schedules and route maps, are available on the Upcoming Schedule Changes page of the Metro website at metrostlouis.org/servicechange. Transit customers who have questions or need assistance should contact Transit Information at 314.231.2345 (phone) or 314.207.9786 (text), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
