All Aboard: Metro Transit Helps You RIDE ON to February Fun

Return to Blog

Mardi Gras CrowdThe shortest month of the year is actually bursting with fun and festive events throughout the region, all accessible by Metro Transit. Here are some of our top picks for February:

Soulard Mardi Gras Festivities – February 3, 4 & 10

Metro will not operate a special Mardi Gras shuttle this year, but there are several transit options available to help you enjoy all the fun and festivities of this St. Louis tradition. Start your Mardi Gras celebration with the Taste of Soulard, a self-guided tasting and pub tour through the Soulard neighborhood on February 3 and 4. The party goes into full swing the following weekend starting with the Bud Light Grand Parade through Soulard on Saturday, February 10, at 11 a.m., and then shifting to Ballpark Village at the end of the night for the official Mardi Gras After Party.

Take MetroLink to the Stadium MetroLink Station, which is a short walk away from the action in Soulard and Ballpark Village. MetroBus is another great way to enjoy the celebration, with the #10 Gravois-Lindell, #30 Arsenal and #73 Carondelet MetroBus routes serving stops near Soulard. Please note that these routes may be operating on a reroute due to the parade and festivities – check our Rider Alerts before you head out.
