This 1960’s-era GM bus from the Saint Louis Public Service Company travels in downtown St. Louis in the 1960s at Olive and 14th Streets. Have a great weekend!

    Seeing the trolley car in the background makes the date of December,1968 incorrect. Possibly could be 1958 – but at least prior to May, 1966. Bi-state took over local transits in 1963, so I expect that this color scheme disappeared soon after.

    The bus is crossing Twelfth (Tucker) St on Olive. The streetcar behind the bus dates the photo to before 5-21-66, which was the last day for streetcars in St. Louis. The photo was after Bi-State took over as the Bi-State logo is on the side of the bus
