Introducing Metro Voices: A Series Connecting People with Places

Return to Blog

Public transit is a thread that connects us all. We’re dedicated to amplifying the voices and influence of those who incorporate our transit system into their daily lives.

Metro Voices seeks to bridge gaps in understanding and appreciate the diverse narratives (people, places, and things) that add to the heartbeat of our transit system. We invite riders to rediscover their city and enjoy the multitude of experiences that define our community. Whether it’s the student heading to class, the artist on the way to a show, or the nurse returning home after a night shift, Metro matters.

We believe that Metro is more than a transit system—it’s a shared experience that holds the potential to foster a stronger, more connected community. By highlighting positive local stories and the real faces of our neighborhoods, we create a different narrative: one of purpose, possibility, and pride within our public transport system. Through this monthly Instagram content series, we aim to do just that.
