Metro to Provide Free Shuttles to St. Louis Symphony Concert
Return to BlogMetro Transit and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra are making it easy for music lovers to enjoy musical favorites under the night sky at Forest Park next week.
On Wednesday, September 12, hop on board a MetroBus shuttle and ride for free to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s 50th annual concert on Art Hill in Forest Park. The free concert starts at 7 p.m.
To avoid having to find parking, sitting in traffic or walking long distances, park at any one of 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri and Illinois, purchase their $5 round trip tickets, ride MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station, and then hop on the special MetroBus shuttle for a free, quick and convenient ride to the concert venue.
The shuttle pick-up and drop-off area will be located on the west side of DeBaliviere Avenue, just north of the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station. The shuttles will operate every 10 minutes between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and they will make stops at the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor Center parking lots and the Boathouse as they travel between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and the concert site on Art Hill. The last shuttle returning to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station after the concert ends will leave at 9:30 p.m.
Please note that while the MetroBus shuttle to the concert is free to ride, a paid ticket or pass is required to ride regular MetroLink or MetroBus service.
