Santa Joins Metro Transit to Help Spread Holiday Cheer

Transit customers, families and others will be able to visit with Santa on the Metro Transit system, enjoy holiday music, get candy canes and other giveaways, and find transit gifts on MetroLink, MetroBus and Metro Call-A-Ride vehicles. Stop by at the locations and times below and enjoy some holiday cheer!

Civic Center Transit Center (401 S. 14th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103)
Tuesday, December 13 | 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Featuring photos with Santa, caroling and music with Celia’s Yuletide Express, candy canes and other giveaways

Various Transit Centers
Thursday, December 15 | 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Keep an eye out for Santa Claus as he hops on and off MetroLink trains, stopping at different transit centers to greet customers, take photos and hand out candy canes

North Hanley Transit Center (4300 Hanley Road, St. Louis, MO 63134)
Saturday, December 17 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Featuring photos with Santa, holiday music, candy canes and other giveaways

Belleville Transit Center (800 Scheel Street, Belleville, IL 62201)
Sunday, December 18 | 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Reindeer Games is a special event at the Belleville Transit Center hosted by St. Clair County Transit District, which will feature Santa, a live reindeer, games, crafts and refreshments

Gifts of Transit – On MetroLink, MetroBus and Metro Call-A-Ride Vehicles
December 12 through December 24
Starting Monday, December 12, through Saturday, December 24, transit customers may find a surprise gift during their commutes. Special holiday envelopes will be randomly placed on MetroLink trains, MetroBus vehicles and Metro Call-A-Ride vans containing free transit passes that riders can use themselves or they can share the gift of transit with someone else.
