November 23-25: MetroLink Trains Will Not Operate Between CWE and Civic Center Stations

Planned MetroLink Service Modification:
Saturday, November 23 | Sunday, November 24 | Monday, November 25

MetroLink train at the Civic Center Station with Enterprise Center in the backgroundMetroLink trains will not operate between the Central West End and Civic Center MetroLink Stations all day on Saturday, November 23; Sunday, November 24; and Monday, November 25; to accommodate required track maintenance work.

During this three-day planned service modification, customers will be transported by bus on MetroLink Station Shuttles between the Central West End, Cortex, Grand, Union Station and Civic Center Stations. If you need to travel through this area, please plan ahead and allow an additional 30 minutes for your commute.

MetroLink trains traveling outside of the affected area will operate every 20 minutes.

  • Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Central West End Stations.
  • Red Line trains will operate between Lambert Airport and Central West End Stations, and between the Civic Center and Shiloh-Scott Stations. Red Line trains will serve all Illinois stations.

MetroLink will resume normal service between the Central West End and Civic Center Stations on Tuesday, November 26.
