Take MetroLink to GO! St. Louis Marathon This Weekend

Are you participating in or cheering on family members or friends this weekend at the annual GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend? We make it easy to enjoy all the excitement without having to deal with traffic, street closures or finding a parking space.

Park at any of the 18 Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri and Illinois and purchase a $5 Metro Day Pass for unlimited trips on MetroBus and MetroLink. Ride the train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station for a short walk into Forest Park to the starting line for the marathon, half-marathon, marathon relay, and 5K.

MetroLink can also be used to reach the start/finish line for the 10K run on the St. Louis riverfront on April 3. This area serves as the finish line for the marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay as well. The finish line can be reached by taking MetroLink to the Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Station and walking north to Carr Street.

MetroBus is another great way to get to Forest Park. Spectators, runners and families can catch the #90 Hampton, which serves the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station and stops near Forest Park. Please note that due to street closures for the GO! St. Louis Family Fun Day, the #90 Hampton will be rerouted on Saturday (April 2) from 7 a.m. to noon. Multiple MetroBus routes will be delayed during the GO! St. Louis Marathon on Sunday (April 3) as buses will hold until runners are clear of the area.

The GO! St. Louis Marathon has one race scheduled on Saturday – a 5K at 7:30 a.m. There are four races scheduled on Sunday – a marathon, half-marathon, marathon relay, and 10K.

Masks Are Required on Metro Transit

Per a federal mandate, masks are still required while riding MetroBus, MetroLink and Metro Call‑A‑Ride, and at MetroLink stations and Metro Transit Centers.
