The Soulard Mardi Gras, one of the region’s favorite annual traditions, kicks into gear on Saturday, March 1, with the Grand Parade, party tents and other fun and exciting festivities. Metro Transit makes it easy to let the good times roll while avoiding crowded and closed streets, and difficult and limited parking. Here are some tips on how to enjoy the fun:

How To Get There

MetroLink: Park at any of 21 free Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri or Illinois, and ride the train to the Stadium MetroLink Station. The Soulard Mardi Gras is located about a mile south on 7^th Street. Join other attendees on 7^th Street or take advantage of Ballpark Village’s free Mardi Gras shuttle.

MetroBus: Grab a ride on the #30 Arsenal or #73 Carondelet MetroBus routes, which both serve stops near Soulard. Please note that the #30 Arsenal and #73 Carondelet will be operating on reroutes due to Mardi Gras road closures, so be sure to check the rider alerts before you leave.
