This St. Clair County Transit District project established a new 16,000 square foot Public Safety Center at the Emerson Park Transit Center, which provides restroom facilities for transit customers, and also houses St. Clair County CENCOM West 911 Emergency Dispatch, St. Clair County MetroLink Sheriff offices, and a backup location for MetroLink Operations Control Center.
