Service Change on Monday, December 2 | Changes to 25 Current MetroBus Routes

Metro Transit will make changes to 25 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois on Monday, December 2, to improve transit service for customers as part of a quarterly service change. There are no changes to MetroLink service on December 2.

November 23-25: MetroLink Trains Will Not Operate Between CWE and Civic Center - Allow Extra Time

Saturday, November 23 | Sunday, November 24 | Monday, November 25

MetroLink trains will not operate between the Central West End and Civic Center MetroLink Stations all day on Saturday, November 23; Sunday, November 24; and Monday, November 25; for track maintenance work.

During this three-day period, customers will be transported by bus on MetroLink Station Shuttles between the Central West End, Cortex, Grand, Union Station and Civic Center Stations. If you need to travel through this area, please plan ahead and allow an additional 30 minutes for your commute.

MetroLink trains traveling outside of the affected area will operate every 20 minutes.

• Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Central West End Stations.
• Red Line trains will operate between Lambert Airport and Central West End Stations, and Red Line trains will operate between Civic Center and Shiloh-Scott Stations.

MetroLink will resume normal service between the Central West End and Civic Center Stations on Tuesday, November 26.

Single-Track Operations at Downtown Stations | 6 p.m. to End of Service | November 18-21

DETAILS

Monday, November 18 – Thursday, November 21| 6 p.m. to End of Service:
MetroLink will operate on a single track between the Stadium and Laclede’s Landing Stations due to work on the downtown tunnels.

During these periods, Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations during scheduled single-track operations listed above. MetroLink customers will need to transfer between Blue Line and Red Line trains at the Forest Park Station.

• Westbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train between the Fairview Heights and Central West End MetroLink Stations, and travel to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to transfer to a Blue Line train and continue their westbound trips.
• Eastbound Blue Line passengers will need to transfer to a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue their eastbound trips.
• Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
• Passengers should allow extra time when transferring between Red Line and Blue Line.

8th & Pine Station Temporarily Closed for Enhancements

8th & Pine Station Temporarily Closed

The 8th & Pine MetroLink Station in downtown St. Louis remains temporarily closed for a station enhancement project. There is no access to the station, and MetroLink trains are not stopping at the station.

The 8th & Pine Shuttle bus is operating between the Civic Center and 8th & Pine MetroLink Stations to support customers traveling to or from destinations near the 8th & Pine Station, including MetroStore and the Transit Access Center. The 8th & Pine Shuttle operates every 20 minutes, see the schedule: ML Station Shuttle CCTC-8PIN

Construction work is expected to be completed in December 2024. The project has experienced delays due to unexpected conditions discovered during the enhancement project, requiring a change in project scope and additional time for delivery of new supplies and equipment.
