Skinker Elevator Temporarily Out of Service

DETAILS

Due to construction work, the elevator at Skinker MetroLink Station is temporarily unavailable for several weeks, starting on Tuesday, July 22. Riders who require an elevator should use the accessible ramps at the station to enter and exit the MetroLink platform.

ADA Accessible Ramp to Temporarily Close at Forsyth Station | Beginning July 21

DETAILS

Starting on Monday, July 21, the accessible ramp at the Forsyth Station will temporarily close for several weeks due to construction work.

During this period, if you require an elevator or an accessible ramp, you will need to use the free ADA Shuttle during the construction work. The ADA Shuttle will transport riders between the Richmond Heights and Forsyth Stations:

• Traveling to Forsyth Station: Exit the train at Richmond Heights Station and board the ADA shuttle to reach Forsyth.
• Traveling from Forsyth Station: Board the ADA Shuttle on Forsyth Avenue to ride to Richmond Heights Station to connect with MetroLink.

The ADA Shuttle is scheduled to match train arrival times to minimize delays during the construction work. The ADA walkway is scheduled to reopen in August.

East Entrance to Brentwood I-64 Station Temporarily Closed

DETAILS

NEW CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: The east entrance to the Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Station is temporarily closed until mid-August for construction.

During the closure, riders on the east side of the station will need to board a Metro Shuttle Van to reach the west entrance to the MetroLink platform (by Dierbergs). Riders can board the Metro Shuttle Van at a stop near the parking facility.

Arriving at Brentwood I-64 on MetroLink

During the closure, riders connecting to destinations on the east side of the station will need to use the walkway to Dierbergs/Brentwood Pointe to board a Metro Shuttle Van to reach Musick Memorial Drive and the other side of the Brentwood I-64 Station.

Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details – July 28 – August 1

On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 PM until end of service, and on Wednesday from 11:30 PM until end of service, Blue Line trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station. During these periods: 

• Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.
• Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes.
• Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.

Fairview Heights and Washington Park Stations  Single-Track Details:

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Beginning of Revenue Service until After Revenue Service, to minimize disturbance of the 79th St. retaining wall, MetroLink will continue single-track at Fairview Heights and Washington Park Stations. 

During single-track operation:

• Blue Line Trains will only operate from Emerson Park Station to Shrewsbury Station 
• Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the JJK Station should board a Red Line train to Emerson Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.
• Eastbound Blue Line Trains will depart Shrewsbury Station 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure and hold for time at Brentwood-I64 Station.

• Red Line service may experience delays of up to 5 minutes.
• Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.
